CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER is a fun, sporty, team-based experience available on the AppStore and Google Play.
In practice, CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER records your physical activities (walking, running, cycling), with or without the help of a third-party application, and transforms them into points that will allow your team to go higher and higher in the ranking.
Missions and quizzes regularly spice up the experience and help you and your teammates to earn even more points, always in a good mood. So, are you ready? 🙂
CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER promotes physical activity, team spirit and well-being.
Your reward: to do good to your body and mind, but also to share a unique and inspiring experience with your colleagues.
Eventually, your company may decide to set up incentives, both individual and collective, for the benefit of a charity or an environmental project for example.
CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER is available on :
iOS – from iOS 15
Android – from version 8
Unfortunately, CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER is not available on Windows Phone.

Depending on the application or connected object you use, you can synchronise your activities from a third-party application. To do this, simply go to the “Settings” page of the application and click on “Connect a sports application”.
Of course they are! We are very attentive to the protection of your data and we only use them within the framework of the challenge in which you participate.
In addition, the service provider “LiveHappier”, a subcontractor of Action contre la Faim, declared to the CNIL (The French Data Protection Authority), in accordance with the 1978 Data Protection Act, has contractually agreed with Action contre la Faim to comply with all legislative decrees in force in each country, applicable to the processing of personal data and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, “European Data Protection Regulation – GDPR”.

Teams are ranked according to the points they have earned between May 13 and June 7, 2024.
The only objective is to win as many points as possible! To do this, the points of each team member are added together and everyone can follow the team’s ranking in real time from the application.
A boost is a magical power that makes a teammate earn 10% more points for 24 hours.
Whether you are physically active or not, you can boost your colleagues! The same user can accumulate up to 3 boosts, that is 30% more points. Enough to fill up on points. It’s up to you to be as strategic as possible!
Boosting a teammate is very simple! Go to the “Team” page and click on “Booster” for the teammate you want to boost. You can also directly boost the teammate you want by going to his or her profile from the same page.
Important: if you boost a teammate, this boost will be valid for 24 hours only. Similarly, if you receive a boost from a teammate, it will also count for 24 hours.
Sports missions are based on four activities: walking, running, cycling and yoga. Missions are offered very frequently to challenge you. These can be individual or team activities. For example, you may be asked to complete a certain number of steps or kilometers in a limited time.
To participate, nothing could be easier! Go to the “Home” page and click on “Current missions”.
All available missions are listed, and to take part, simply start the corresponding activity (walk – run – bike – yoga) and your steps/km will automatically contribute to the mission in progress.
Yoga activities are available in the quizzes: you’ll be asked if you’d like to follow the session, and you’ll be redirected to an online yoga link to do whenever you like before the mission deadline. This link will remain available in the quiz “history” until you use it.
To earn points for this Yoga session, there will be dedicated questions on the session!
CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER isn’t just about physical activity!
On a regular basis, you’ll be asked to answer questions on topics such as climate change, nutrition, health, food safety and mental health.
If you answer correctly, you’ll earn bonus points. If you’re in any doubt about your answer, don’t hesitate to chat with your team members via the app’s chat function.
Go to the bottom of the “Home” page and click on the quiz to answer it.
The question and the suggested answers will then appear on the screen.
Whether you answer correctly or not, there will always be a little explanatory text to give you more details and hopefully teach you something new!
If cheating is a sport, it is not accepted on CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER 😉
This challenge must be carried out in a spirit of fair play and good humor. We’re counting on you and your teammates to keep the spirit alive!
As in any game, cheating is of course possible. We detect suspicious activities (analysis of speed, cadence, etc.) and can proceed to the regulation of points. If necessary, we come back to the participant to ask for more details. If a cheater is identified, points will be deducted and he/she may be excluded from the challenge in case of a repeat offence.
Whichever phone you have, make sure you enable access to motion and GPS for the CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER app when you start the app or in your phone settings. Otherwise, no activity will be recorded.
For running, cycling and all other activities, click on “Movement” at the bottom of “Home”, select first the type of activity (work, personal commute or leisure sport), then the activity itself (rollerblading, running, skateboarding, cycling, electric cycling, wheelchair and others).
To get started, click on the activity of your choice and the counter will start immediately. The app may then ask for permission to geolocate you. To complete the activity, click on “Finish” (the little flag) and confirm. A summary of your performance is displayed, which you must confirm by clicking on “Save”, and the points obtained are added to your personal counter and that of your team.
Step counting is automatic. It syncs with your Google Fit app (for Android) and Apple Health app (for iOS) for more precise tracking. You can also synchronize your connected watch’s activities with Garmin.
Every application has its own algorithm for recording the number of steps taken each day. No method is 100% reliable and it is possible that you will sometimes notice a discrepancy between your application and CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER.
Nothing serious, it’s still a game 😉 However, if the difference is too big (more than 30%), don’t hesitate to write to eva@squadeasy.com so that it can be corrected.
You set off on foot from home this morning, and when you check the number of steps you’ve taken once you’ve arrived at the office, you notice that the counter is stuck at 0? Check that you’ve downloaded the latest version of the app on your phone and, if you’re on Android, that you’ve downloaded Google Fit – in which case check whether any steps are recorded on this app. Finally, we invite you to check that you have accepted access to your phone’s movements in the application’s settings. If the problem persists, try restarting your phone. As a last resort, don’t hesitate to write to eva@squadeasy.com.
Steps taken during a running session can be counted and generate extra points for you and your team!
At the moment, the easiest way to count steps in addition to a running activity is to go running with your smartphone 🙂
To synchronize your activities from an application other than Health, Google Fit, you need to synchronise your activities to one of these applications and then synchronize to CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER.
Have you been using CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER and noticed an error in the distance, time or GPS track? This is probably due to a loss of GPS signal during your run or to incorrect handling. If you need help, write to eva@squadeasy.com
It can happen that the points are not immediately counted at the end of an outing.
This is usually due to the network being too weak when you register your trip. If after several attempts to synchronise, the points are still not allocated to you, try restarting your CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER application.
If the problem persists, don’t hesitate to write to
We are well aware that activities performed in the gym or at home are just as physical as outdoor efforts.
Unfortunately, we don’t count this type of activity at the moment. Maybe soon 😉
It is currently not possible to connect a GPS watch directly to CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER.
But we are working on it! However, you can always connect your watch to a third party application and transfer your data to CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER via this application.
For your step count via your Garmin watch, Eva recommends that you sync Garmin to your health app (Google fit or Health) and then sync it to CONNECTED AGAINST HUNGER.
The social wall is a great way to share your outings! You can share messages, photos, react to other participants’ posts and even earn points!
To access it, you just have to click on the “Social” button at the bottom of your screen.
Feature not available on all challenges.
The “Theme photos” missions let you earn points by posting a photo on the social wall. To do this, when a mission is available, simply click on “photo challenge” and choose the one you want to take part in. After confirmation, the APP will ask you to choose one of your photos to publish, and will accompany you until it’s posted on the social wall.
That’s it, you’ve earned points!
If you want to change your team, you can: join your profile from the application’s homepage, then click on “option” → “leave team” → confirm your choice and then create or join a new team.
When you change team, your points earned so far this season remain with the team you were with.
If you don’t want to be captain of your team anymore, go to the “team” page from the bottom menu of the homepage, click on “option” and then “change captain”. You can then give the armband to whoever you want.
